Dipasa provides excellent healthy food products globally, we seek to stay at the forefront in this field, to better serve our customers. We help our people develop professionally and ethically and are useful to the community around us.
Our history
DIPASA was founded in 1974 with private capital.
By 1978 it was already established as a Mexican company, leader in industrialized sesame products, serving 56 countries worldwide.
By 1980 it had developed as one of the most important agricultural industries in Mexico.
In 1984 we constructed Mexico’s most modern and efficient new processing plant in Cortazar, Guanajuato, using our 10 years experience and technical know-how.
In 1985 Dipasa USA was incorporated, opening our production plant and offices in Brownsville, Texas, enabling us to give the best possible service to our customers in the USA and Canada.
In 1990 Dipasa Europe was incorporated, opening our office and de-hulling plant, located in The Netherlands(Enschede), in order to enhance the commercialization of our products in the European continent.
Achievements
- Implementation of HACCP in our production lines with excellent results which reflect towards our customers.
- Installment of a new sesame hulling plant, using our self-developed 100% Mexican technology.
- Installment of a new production plant for the production of Tahini (Sesame paste).
- Inauguration of the world’s first production plant to manufacture Isolated Sesame Protein, “Sesaprot”, and started to produce another product with high protein content, called “Sesamina”.
- Inauguration of a new ultra modern oil refinery for the production of pharmaceutical and cosmetic grade refined oil. All the processes in our refinery are organic certified.
- In 2008 we obtained the “AIB” (American Institute of Bakeries) SUPERIOR Grade Audit Certificate.
- Our tahini production area was modified as a high care production area in 2008, so as to provide the highest care and standards to produce Dipasa Sesame Paste.
